If you love the warm, woody, slightly addictive vibe of Le Labo Santal 33, this gives me a very similar feeling without the hefty price tag. What surprised me most is the longevity—it actually lasts beautifully on my skin and I can still catch whiffs of it hours later.
Lasted 12 hours from first spray. Smells ambigous, neither masculine nor feminine. Smells really smooth and seductive. This is my new fav scent since buying Dior Sauvage EDP.
The scent is really good. Not too strong that it bothers people around you, but strong enough to make people notice.
I accidentally dropped my bottle and broke the sprayer. DM'd them on IG and got a fast reply. They even help me repair the bottle with a new cap. Great customer service.
Given I do not normally leave reviews and I am residing overseas, buying this meant taking a risk and listening to the advice of the team at Analogue. Absolutely LOVE the product! … It has been my go to product everyday.
Been using the solid perfume for over a year now. Thought to try the oil. I love how subtle it is and yet long lasting.
What we made instead
50% fragrance oil
No alcohol
Nothing evaporates it off you. Body heat brings it up, not off.
Half the bottle is the perfume
No alcohol to lift it off, so it bonds to warm skin instead. Up to 7 hours from one application, on skin, never fabric.
The whole scent arrives
It opens slow instead of loud, then the heart comes through and the base settles. The parts you've never smelled.
Goes on without the sting
Nothing to burn, nothing to strip, nothing to dry out the skin underneath. Enjoyed by any skin type
The problem
Your RM300+ EDP gone by lunch Every time
Your paid for 15% fragrance oil only. The rest is alcohol, and it doesn't last.
-
IN THE BOTTLE
Alcohol is the carrier, not the scent
It pushes the top notes out loud, then takes them with it. The heart and base never arrive.
-
IN THIS HEAT
Alcohol goes faster here
Formulated for a colder country. In hot summer and humidity, it's gone in a few hours.
-
ON YOUR SKIN
Alcohol stings, then it dries you out
Every morning it strips the oil out of your skin. Tight at first, then irritated, then itching.
- Alcohol spray
- Oil de Parfum
Illustrative, not measured. Wear varies with skin and climate. Up to 7 hours from a single application.
Application
How to wear it
-

Spray onto skin, never fabric
Oil marks cloth, silk and linen most of all. Keep it clear of collars and cuffs.
-

Go where the skin runs warm
Wrists, neck, inner elbows, behind the ears. Warmth is what carries it.
-

Let it settle, don't rub
Rubbing breaks the top notes. Leave it alone and it reaches full presence in about 30 minutes.
Never spray onto clothing. Oil-based fragrance can stain fabric, especially silk, linen, and lighter colours. Always to skin.
